History
After establishing the Euromedic organization in Turkey in late-summer 2005, the company started its activities in the country in the dialysis field. The strategy was to create a network by developing new dialysis centres where the clinical need exists and by acquiring existing operational centres.

At the end of 2005, the company established the first dialysis centre in Avcilar, Istanbul, a modern facility ready to serve the needs of 150 patients and bought from private owners another centre in Bolu, with capacity for 100 patients.

Following the successful acquisitions in the previous year, the company continued to expand its dialysis operations with the acquisition of two additional centres in Sultanciftligi Istanbul (100 patients) and Nigde in the Central Anatolia Region (90 patients).
The fifth centre which is located in Capadocia, Nevsehir was purchased in June 2007 and joined our group with 100 patients.

In July 2007, the company acquired its sixth dialysis centre in Turkey located in the Central Anatolia Region City of Konya where 100 patients are being treated as of today.

The seventh centre INFOMED was purchased in August 2007 from a private renal group in Sultanciftligi, Istanbul. This acquisition was very strategic for the company as the centre was merged with the company’s existing centre in Sultanciftligi and together will treat over 140 patients.

The company’s latest acquisition in Aksaray, Turkey was made in September 2007. The centre is located in the Central Anatolia Region and treats 110 patients on a regular basis.

In November 2007, Euromedic acquired three additional dialysis centres in the Black Sea Region of the Country in the cities of Samsun, Carsamba and Fatsa. The centres collectively treat over 300 patients and have capacity to treat large number of visiting patients during the holiday months. With the addition of the Black Sea Region centres, Euromedic’s dialysis network in Turkey now owns and operates ten dialysis centres and treats over 1,000 patients on a regular basis.
In January - 2008, Euromedic has started to operate its first outpatient center including diagnostic and laboratory services in Turkey. INTERMED Medical Centre is in the Nisantasi Region of Istanbul’s city center. The centre, which was established in 1982, is a distinguished, well recognized medical service provider with over 25 years of dedicated service in Istanbul.
INTERMED provides a wide range of Outpatient - Diagnostic and Laboratory services including: Mammography, Conventional Radiography, Color Doppler Sonography, Osteodensitometry, Echocardiograms, Endoscopy, other diagnostic tests and a complete line of clinical laboratory services. The Center also provide doctor services in several disciplines such as Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Neurology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology, Ear-Nose-Throat, Family Medicine, Oncology and General Surgery.

In March 2008, Euromedic completed the acquisition of two dialysis centres in Central Anatolia, Turkey. The centres are located in the districts of Ilgin and Beysehir, which are part of the very historic city of Konya.,br/> IDC IIgin and Beysehir together will treat 130 patients on a regular basis and have capacity to treat visiting patients during the holiday season. The centres currently utilize 42 haemodialysis machines and with their staff of 40 medical professionals perform over 20,000 treatments annually. Euromedic now owns and operates 12 dialysis centres in Turkey and treats over 1,200 patients on a regular basis.

In June, 2008 Euromedic acquired a new dialysis centre in Central Anatolia, Turkey. The centre is located in the district of Eregli, which is part of the very historic region of Konya. IDC Eregli will treat 80 patients on a regular basis and have capacity to treat visiting patients during the holiday season. The centre currently utilizes 26 haemodialysis machines and with a staff of 24 medical professionals performs over 12,000 treatments annually. The company owns and operates 13 dialysis centres in Turkey and treats nearly 1,300 patients on a regular basis.

In January 2009, Euromedic completed the acquisition of a new dialysis centre in the Marmara Region of Turkey. The centre is located in the town of Inegol, which is part of the very historic and scenic Marmara Region
IDC Inegol treats 165 patients on a regular basis and has capacity to treat visiting patients during the holiday season.  The centre currently utilizes 30 haemodialysis machines and with their staff of 39 medical professionals performs over 25,000 treatments annually. The company owns and operates 14 dialysis centres in Turkey and treats over 1,400 patients on a regular basis.
