MHL and CyberKnife®
CyberKnife is an important and exciting development in the field of non-invasive healthcare, so MHL quickly saw the potential of making it available to many more patients worldwide. As the number of centres has risen, so has the range of treatments offered.
CyberKnife is not a single treatment but a powerful and effective tool. It can be used in many ways, either alone or in conjunction with other treatments. This makes our on-line service of even greater value, since patients receive  information on the range of treatments available at individual centres.
Zurich CyberKnife Centre
MHL has handled enquiries for CyberKnife centres since early in 2006. Doctors and patients were asking us many of the same questions, so we developed this website to help them make effective enquiries.
We liaise with them to ensure that information on our web sites is correct and up to date, but as treatment protocols are developing all the time we encourage readers to visit Accuray's web site for the latest technical information and references.
Our information and on-line application service for CyberKnife radiosurgery is just part of our wider promotion of world leading treatment centres and advanced medical technologies. For information on other treatments including proton therapy visit our web site MHL Clinics.
MHL is entirely independent
Every hospital or treatment centre that acquires a CyberKnife applies its own experience and expertise in developing its treatment protocols. This is becoming increasingly apparent in the divergence of approach between them.
Difference of approach between CyberKnife centres
CyberKnife is a tool, not a treatment
No, we cannot advise on individual cases, but we introduce doctors and patients to treatment centres which accept cases of their stated type. We provide information which is not readily available from many sources but we do not recommend one particular treatment or centre over another.
What experience does MHL have?
Does MHL advise on individual cases?
We have no contractual or financial relationship with Accuray Inc, the manufacturers of CyberKnife and we strive to give an unbiased view of the benefits and limitations of this form of treatment.
Which other treatments does MHL promote?
